Eight years has passed since the party in Waterford. We've all got a little older and some of the people featured in these photos are sadly no longer with us. I'll admit, I never imagined that Grandad would be one of those people.

But this is why these photos are so important - they offer a snapshot in time and hold memories of happy moments long after they've gone. I look back at these photos and smile, remembering Grandad's booming Irish voice and a party filled with family, dancing and plenty of Guinness. 

Although this is a sad time, I hope that everyone can look at these photos and remember both Grandad and the party with fondness.
